Recreation of traditional blankets used in rural areas in size XL. They are woven on a hand loom and made according to the ancient custom of reusing old clothes and fabrics to make rugs, mats and other useful pieces for the home. Leftover fabric given to the Weavers’ House by textile companies in the region are cut to make strips, which are then passed by the shuttle over a cotton weft of different colours. The end result depends on the creativity and expertise of the weaver.
